Strange film. I found it more interesting to watch the various actors play unusual roles rather than anything the film had to say. The big names in it generally had the smaller roles, Brendan Fraser was playing a straight role, Sandra Bullock wasn't the star of the show - she wasn't even particularly good looking in it. It was funny in places, sad in places, romantic in places and just generally very bizarre.

Watch This If: you have no intention of going to LA

Watch Out For: Ryan Phillippe in a police uniform.... *wow*

Life on the Costa Del Crime..... just as you'd imagine it to be......

Billed as a british 'Goodfellas'... well maybe not. It's easy to see the comparisions, established gangster takes a newbie under his wing who's a bit reluctant at first but soon comes round.

Watch Out For: A stonking 80's soundtrack....

Asylum

I loved this. It was intriguing, powerful and brilliantly acted. Matched my mood nicely actually, love and passion can really make you crazy and drive you insane. Natasha Richardson was truly fabulous and if she doesn't get an award it's a mistake. I'd never seen her in a straight role and I'd definitely go back to see her again.
