The Legend of Zorro

Lets see, Antonio in a mask, Catherine in a frock, immaculate makeup and a truly terrible accent (think her welsh accent might have been more convincing). Although on the plus side her boobs were great and she should definitely get the 'Best Supported' Actress Oscar.

I couldn't really follow the storyline, something about swords, secrets and soap. But then again i did fall asleep during it.

Wallace and Gromit - The curse of the ware-rabbit

Unbelievably my first Wallace and Gromit film. Didn't really know what to expect, but I'd been told that it was funny. That was an understatement. I loved this film, nice plot twist and loads of cute bunnies (literally) flying around. Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes are both excellently cast, however I had to wait for the credits at the end to see which character Peter Kay lent his voice to.

Watch Out For: The bunnies.... they completely steal the show!

Lord of War

Nicholas Cage.... Always worth watching, and this is no exception. Allegedly 'based on true events'... well that's just a bit too much conspiracy theory for me. But I took it as a good story - well written with excellent characters. There were a couple of obvious plot twists, but hey - it's an american movie! At least you couldn't predict the ending 20 mins into it. For any SATC fans - Big's ex Natasha plays the female lead and it's interesting to see her in a role where she actually gets to talk!

Watch This If: You enjoy movies with a storyline.

Kinky Boots

Top Film. Not quite as funny as I thought it would be but still good and some great laugh out loud moments.

Red Eye

I guess if you suspend reality and go with the crap assassin and the woman who can't choose between her casual pal and her dad, then this isn't a half bad movie. Worth a watch on a rainy evening.
